Our Meetinghouse Family Physician Team

The Meetinghouse Family Physicians’ philosophy centers on the principles of “The Patient-Centered Medical Home”,
as well as practicing evidence-based medicine.

Meetinghouse Family Physicians has been serving the community since 1981. The practice provides comprehensive medical care to people of all ages with an emphasis on preventive care, health maintenance and patient education. We are committed to ‘evidence’ based medicine and the philosophy of ‘Patient-Centered Medical Home’ (PCMH) that creates a team approach for our patients and the rest of the medical community. Our goal is to act as the central hub for each of our patient’s healthcare experience.

Our physicians serve the practice 24 hour a day – 7 days a week. Your medical record is available to our physicians all the time, even when the office is closed. When the office is closed your calls go directly to the on-call physician’s cell phone. We admit and follow our patients at the Virtua Hospital in Marlton, New Jersey on Brick Road. In the event of any problems with your healthcare, bills, referrals, community services, specialists we referred or hospitalizations, etc., please do not hesitate to contact us.

The American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association have jointly defined the medical home as a model of care where each patient has an ongoing relationship with a personal physician who leads a team that takes collective responsibility for that patient’s care. In the medical home model, the primary care physician serves as a quarterback or care coordinator, directing other team members in their roles to ensure that every patient gets appropriate care at the right place, right time and in the right amount to support their optimal health. The model also helps ensure that when patients need to go elsewhere for tests or specialty care, the team has a process in place to ensure that the results are added to the patient’s medical files and become a part of that patient’s care.

Our goal is to integrate and coordinate all aspects of your healthcare needs. We work as a team — physician, staff, and patient to maintain an on-going relationship! We have been recognized for our quality of care and the use of Electronic Medical Records by the federal government (Meaningful Use), Medicare (Comprehensive Primary Care Inititative) and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon’s Patient-Centered Medical Home).
